I am V. N. V. Prasad, Director of Prasad Public School, Rajahmundry. My journey in photography began in 2010, but what started as an interest soon became a lifelong pursuit of vision, discipline, and discovery.

Photography, to me, is more than a skill—it is a way of seeing the world with purpose. Through my lens, I have explored the untamed beauty of wildlife, the delicate precision of macro subjects, and the vast, breathtaking expanse of landscapes. Each frame has been a lesson—teaching patience, sharpening focus, and deepening my understanding of nature and life itself.

From the stillness required in bird photography to the creative control of tabletop compositions, and from the wonders of the natural world to the mysteries of astrophotography, every experience has pushed me to look beyond the ordinary. Photography has taught me to wait for the right moment, to value detail, and to appreciate perspectives that often go unnoticed.

I believe that true photography is not just about capturing what we see, but about revealing what we feel. It is a journey of continuous learning, where every image tells a story, and every story builds a deeper connection with the world around us.

Aninda Mitra is a travel and culture photographer whose work explores the living traditions, rituals, and festivals of India. Aninda (also known as “Andy” among his peers), is a scientist by profession in the Pharma sector. He spent over a decade abroad pursuing research, during which he travelled through 25 countries across four continents, where he developed a deep fascination with capturing human stories, traditions, and landscapes.

After returning to India four years ago, he turned his lens toward the country’s vibrant cultural tapestry. His photography now focuses on documenting customs, rituals, and festivals that reflect the heritage of diverse communities, with a growing interest in tribal traditions. In addition, Aninda has a strong passion for nature photography, especially in macro genre.

In the past two years, Aninda’s photography has earned more than 800 acceptances and over 60 awards in national and international salons, across more than 20 countries. He holds several prestigious photographic distinctions (AFIAP, GPU CR2, AFIP, A.IAAP, E.NPS, E.APG, IIG/s). In 2024, he was listed among the Top 100 Indian exhibitors in FIP-recognised salons. His deep engagement with tribal photography was further acknowledged in 2025 when one of his images was awarded Tribal Photo of the Year by the Photographic Association of India.

Through his work, Aninda seeks to document and share India’s cultural richness, capturing traditions that connect people through both their uniqueness and universality.

Subhash is a passionate photographer who specializes exclusively in Indian classical dance, with a particular focus on Bharatanatyam. With nearly a decade of dedicated experience behind the lens, he is known for capturing the precision, grace, and emotive depth of each performance. His work reflects a deep respect for tradition while highlighting the dynamic energy of the art form.

Professionally, Subhash is an accomplished expert in product innovation and development. Over a distinguished 28-year career, he has worked with leading major appliance companies, contributing to breakthrough designs and technological advancements. A holder of five patents, he combines creative vision with engineering excellence, bringing both artistic sensitivity and technical rigor to everything he does.

Started photography in 1990 as wedding photographer and now doing as cinematographer in Indian film and TV industry

Vidya Sagar Lakka is a multifaceted professional he is an Engineer, Photographer and Filmmaker. His Passion for photography inspire by his first camera, an Olympus Trip 35 gifted by his father he started his photographic journey during his high school, He later pursued formal training, earning a Diploma in Photography (Visual Communication) and a PG Diploma in Television Production from University of Hyderabad.

*Expertise*
As a specialized photographer in scientific photography for agricultural research, Vidya Sagar has collaborated extensively with the International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT). His expertise encompasses aerial photography, time-lapse, thermal imaging, UV, and IR, with a focus on insect entomology, plant pathology, and fungal culture and 3 D photography

*Approach and Philosophy*
Vidya Sagar believes in simplicity, both in life and on set, consistently yielding exceptional results. He brings unwavering passion and dedication to each project, prioritizing excellence. His motivation stems from the satisfaction derived from his work, driving his three-decade-long journey.

*Documenting Cultural Heritage*
Vidya Sagar has documented Telangana’s festivals, contributing to a published book and Calendar conducting photo exhibitions in Hyderabad and Bengaluru (2016-2019). These endeavors have earned him recognition and acclaim, widely appreciated by media. He has a special affinity for photographing in natural light.

Vidya Sagar’s work has been recognized through several notable achievements:

– Contributed to 54 episodes of ETV’s Annadhatha, a farmer-centric program.
– Collaborated on short films for prominent organizations like WWF, ILRI, and IWMI.
– Received a Certificate of Accomplishment in the CGIAR Photo Competition 2007 for his photograph “A trainee from China learns about pigeonpea.”
– Featured among the top 24 photos in the competition, judged by professional photographers from the National Geographic Society, The World Bank, and Independent Photography.

*Affiliations*
Vidya Sagar is committed to social causes, serving as a Board member for the NGO CARPED. He is also dedicated to preserving Telangana’s cultural heritage through his photography, earning him the nickname “Bonalu VidyaSagar”.

“I’ve always been an introvert, someone who observes more than speaks. Photography slowly became my voice, a way to express what I often couldn’t put into words. Photography is the only way to show others how I see the world.

What started as simple curiosity turned into something much more meaningful. I found myself drawn to moments that others might pass by. Over time, this curiosity and patience game led me into Bird Photography. Birds fascinated me not just for their beauty, but for the patience they demand and the awareness they build. Standing still, waiting, and truly observing became as important as pressing the shutter.

These quiet moments shaped how I see the world. Bird photography taught me patience, presence, and respect for nature.

Today, photography is more than a passion. It’s a continuous journey of observing, learning, and creating images that feel honest, minimal, and true to my perspective.”

I am a nature lover and spending time with Sun , Moon ,clouds nd nature is mine favourite hobby.. Beautiful shades of sky nd different shapes of clouds always fascinate me… I just started clicking pictures for mine poetry nd slowly I started enjoying myself , nature nd mine mobile company.. Everyday is new learning in this beautiful world

My journey into photography began in my school days around 1997, when my father introduced me to my first camera a Yashica MF-2 point-and-shoot film camera. As a child, I used it to capture moments during family outings, school trips, and gatherings. I still remember photographing places like Hogenakkal Falls, Ooty, Sathanur Dam, and Talakona moments that sparked my early curiosity for visual storytelling.

After a long break, I rediscovered my interest in photography and began to explore it more seriously. Joining TPS played a significant role in shaping my understanding, helping me learn the fundamentals of composition, light, and storytelling.

I am particularly drawn to landscapes and natural environments, where light, atmosphere, and depth come together to create a sense of calm and emotion. I also enjoy experimenting with portraits and macro subjects, focusing on details and expressions that often go unnoticed.

For me, photography is a continuous learning process and a way to connect with the world around me. I strive to create images that are simple, meaningful, and emotionally engaging.

My journey into photography began on a wildlife safari where I was truly captivated by the raw beauty of nature. In that moment, I realized how much we overlook in our everyday lives. Every frame held a story, a detail, a quiet magic that often goes unnoticed. Photography became my way of capturing those fleeting, finer aspects of life we so easily miss.

Curiosity has always driven me to learn, to explore, and to absorb as much as I can. This instinct led me to experiment with different genres of photography, each offering a unique way to freeze moments in time. Dance, as an art form, deeply fascinated me; its expression, rhythm, and emotion made it something I naturally loved to capture.

Traveling across India opened my eyes to its incredible diversity vibrant cultures, age-old traditions, and stories preserved and celebrated over centuries. This genre continues to inspire me endlessly; it never fails to amaze. My love for action and adventure soon drew me toward sports photography, where every second holds energy, intensity, and a new lesson.

The past few years have been a true roller coaster from being a complete novice to exploring genres like wildlife, dance, festivals, people, and sports. Through this journey, I believe I’ve not only grown as a photographer but also as a person, gaining a deeper understanding of life itself.
