Even though I took photographs as far back as 1950 with a basic camera I graduated to 35mm around 1958. In those days colour film processing could only be done in the Metros and it was quite frustrating waiting for ones transparencies to be returned before I could view what had been shot. Consequently my interest in photography waned and it was digital photography which rekindled my interest.

I first ventured out on a photo tour from Manali to Leh in 2005 with Milestone and since then have been on a number of tours covering all genres of photography like landscapes, wild life, birds, portraits of those I came across during the tours, fairs and festivals, table top, macros and anything that caught my fancy.

Its been a long and interesting journey but I must admit a compelling and involved one. I have exhibited my photos courtesy of TPS and nowhere else.
